Exhibition!

Thanks to all who came out for our first exhibition and thanks to artist  Jessica Gorlicky, Dj Gay and DJ OB/GYN! In  February we will be showcasing photography by Louis Au.  Opening exhibition party will be held on Tuesday February 17th. More details to follow so check back soon!

The exhibition is up! Please join us Tuesday, January 20th at 6:30 pm for the opening party at the Rivoli in the upstairs lounge .

  Featuring music from DJ Gay one of the founding members of  "Room Party",  who has also  Deejayed for "Nice and Sleazy" at Disgraceland, "Fuses" at Augusta House and "Music's Greatest Hit's" at Magpies  along with DJ OB/GYN will be spinning, post punk, indie, garage and funk tunes all night.

Downtown Art+Sound is pleased to announce it's first exhibition of 2009, " A Moment In Time" featuring Toronto artist Jessica Gorlicky. Goricky also known as "Jessgo" is a talented painter and jewelry designer who incorporates her love for travel, cosmopolitan lifestyle and urban concepts that are associated with living in a big city into her art work. In her "portrait series", Jessgo experiments with different palettes as she tries to interpret the female spirit in the subjects facial expressions.
